David Ginzler, 82, a resident of Bridgton ME, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2020 in The Villages, Florida after a long and valiant fight with Parkinson's disease.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, his son and daughter-in-law, John and Rosa Ginzler of Nashua New Hampshire, and his grandson, JoeRey Barrera of Boston, Massachusetts. He also leaves three nephews: Martin Drut of Medicine Hat, Canada, Harvey Drut of Los Angeles, California, and Alan Drut of San Diego, California. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Ann Drut.

David was born in Port Chester, NY to Martin and Minna (Wolff) Ginzler. He attended schools in Hartsdale, NY and graduated from New York University with a Masters in electrical engineering. David went on to increasingly responsible positions in the computer industry and re-settled in Framingham MA. He was employed by Honeywell, Computer Control Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Prime Computer. He also started and ran a successful business, DataPartners, which provided network and software consulting and implementation. David and Phyllis bought a home in Bridgton Maine in 1980 and built a new one in 2006, to which they retired.

David will be missed by all who knew him. He was a devoted and supportive husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a loyal and true friend. David lived his life with integrity and high moral values. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and for his wise counsel. He was a fisherman, a skier and a Harley rider. He loved his country and Maine. In his memory, donations may be made to your local Hospice, or to your favorite charity.

Private funeral services were held at Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough, MA.
