Jean A. (Soter) Cox, 77, of Westborough, MA, formerly of Marlborough, died suddenly at her home on Monday March 11, and left many people devastated.
She was born in Framingham on July 27, 1941 to the late Nicholas and Marie Soter (Brown).
Jean was the wife of the late Ronald A. Cox who died on January 21, 2019. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary January 4th of this year.
She had been employed at Data General for many years, before moving to Versitec, from which she retired.
Following her retirement, she began working part time with her family at Caissie Driving School in Holliston, where she took great pride and was a true asset to the company.
Jean was the story book mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She touched many hearts and will forever leave an impact.
She leaves behind her 4 daughters; Debbie McCahan and her husband Tim of Florida, Patricia Frye of Marlborough, Cheryl and Roger Caissie of Marlborough and Christine Frye and her husband Ralph of Marlborough. She also leaves her sister, Mary Mahan of New York, Catherine Holsomback of Northborough and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was a legend in her own time. Mom, we miss you dearly and have the best memories to hold in our hearts to help us through this. We love you very much and please give dad a hug and kiss from all of us.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 16 from 10am-12 noon followed by a funeral service at 12:00 at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, MA
