Joan (Hoey) Kilman, of Medway and West Yarmouth, MA, formerly of Holliston, MA, died Thursday, November 10, 2016.
She was born in Framingham on February 13, 1928, the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Grace M. (Moynihan) Hoey of Holliston. She was the widow of George R. Kilman, Jr., who died in 1987.
Mrs. Kilman was a graduate of Holliston High School and Fannie Farmer School of Cookery in Boston and had been employed as a food service manager for many years, primarily at Fay School, Southborough and Joseph Keefe Tech in Framingham.
She enjoyed her time on Cape Cod and was an avid Red Sox as well as Patriots fan.
She is survived by her sister, Clare Hoey Morash of Centerville and her nieces and nephews: Mary Ellen Williams Pierce of Needham, David Williams of Hopedale, Thomas Williams of West Roxbury, Sarah (Sally) Williams Kacprowicz of Natick, Margaret Morash Santos of Mashpee, William Morash of Hingham, Charles Morash of East Falmouth and Lawrence Morash of South Carolina. She is also survived by 20 great nieces and nephews as well as many great grandnieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Mary Hoey Williams of East Sandwich, formerly of Holliston.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 1:15 pm at St. Mary's Cemetery, Central St., Holliston, MA.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Slattery Funeral Home, inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, MA.
