George Edward "Eddie"Beck, 76 of Southborough, MA, died Monday, September 17,2012 at his home.
He was the husband of Jacqueline (Boisvert) Beck to whom he been married for the past 46 years. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Glenn E. and Dorothy A. (Bagley) Beck.
Following his graduation from Newton Trade School in 1959 he joined the National Guard.
Self employed as a heavy equipment mechanic, he had been the owner of Beck Equipment Repair, Southborough for over 25 years. He was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church, Framingham.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Paul Beck and his wife Cheryl of Douglas, MA, Glenn Beck of Southborough, his daughters, Allison Beck and Jana Beck both of Hudson, MA, his sister, Betsy DeAngelis and her husband John of Marlborough, his grandchildren, Caitlyn Beck-Sabino and her husband Angelo, Lynsay Gasco, Allycia Gasco, Kayleigh Beck and Tyler Beck and his great grandchildren, Jayla Marie Beck-Sabino, Serenity Imbody and Brad Imbody, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Plymouth Congregational Church, Edgell Rd., Framingham, MA.
Donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Knox Council, 490 Union Ave., Framingham, MA 01702.
