James R. Lewis

James R. Lewis, 76, of Marlborough, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester, MA. Born in Hampton Arkansas, he was the son of the late J. W. and Lottie (McDuffie) Lewis and the husband of the late Felice (Shidlow) Lewis, who died in 1995.
Mr. Lewis served in the US Navy aboard the USS Albany. He is survived by his daughter, Laurie Johnson of Marlborough, with whom he made his home, his grandson, Nicholas Johnson and his granddaughter, Kayla Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4 at 11:00 am at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow at Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut St., Newton, MA.
